Xiaomi has amazed the gadget enthusiasts with their Black Shark gaming smartphones. In a time smartphone companies started shifting their attention to making powerful devices, Xiaomi also did the same.
We knew they would release another iteration of Black Shark. Dubbed as Black Shark 2, it packs in the most powerful chipset. We are not sure when it will come to our country. However, the company has confirmed that they will bring it to India.
Black Shark 2 Gaming Smartphone Launched in India
When you compare the latest edition with the previous one, you will find the former has some cool technologies built into it. Similar to Apple’s 3D touch, Black Shark 2 allows you to customize the pressure sensitivity of the display. Dubbed as Magic Press, it offers enhanced control.
The Liquid Cool 3.0 technology helps the device dissipate heat easily. The uplifted imaging is delivered by TrueView Display. Another unique feature we can see on the second iteration is Snapdragon’s Elite Gaming.
The touch response of the smartphone is only 43.5 milliseconds that you don’t even notice the latency. Black Shark 2 has stereo audio output with AI-based noise reduction and anti-howling technology.
Let’s take the regular specifications into consideration now. The phone sports a 6.39-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 403ppi pixel density and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, as a true gaming phone, it packs in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. You are free to choose from either 8 or 12 GB of RAM. The internal storage is available up to 256 GB.

As for the optics, the device features a dual camera setup on the back with a 48 MP primary sensor of f/1.75 aperture lens. It is accompanied by a 12 MP secondary sensor of f/2.2 aperture lens. It even provides a 2x optical zoom. Up front, Black Shark 2 has 20-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
As you already read, we are not sure when the device will come to India. However, the company confirmed they will bring it here.
The base model (6 GB/ 128 GB) carries a price tag of CNY 3199 (around Rs. 32700). On the other hand, you will have to pay CNY 3499 (around Rs. 3499) for 6 GB/ 128 GB model in China. There is also 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant at CNY 3,799 (roughly Rs. 38,800) and the top-end model with 12GB RAM/ 256GB storage at CNY 4,199 (roughly Rs. 42,900). The phone will hit the market in Frozen Silver and Shadow Black colors.
