Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 6 Pro in India late last year. However, the interesting part was that the Redmi Note 5 Pro from Xiaomi was also released at the beginning of 2018. This means that two flagships from Redmi Note series were released in the same year. Moreover, it has not even been six months since the launch of Redmi Note 6 Pro and we are already hearing about the Redmi Note 7.
Yes, the Redmi Note 7 is going to be released soon. This is because the smartphone has now been certified by the Chinese certification site, TENAA.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and Redmi 7 to release soon in China
Image Credits: TimesNowLooks like, Xiaomi is already planning to release their Redmi Note 7 series. Because the Redmi Note 7 from Xiaomi has already visited TENAA. If you don’t know TENAA is a certification site for Chinese smartphones similar to FCC in the US. Since the Redmi Note 7 is seen to be certified on TENAA, the smartphone is going to release soon.
Generally, the upcoming smartphones are seen on TENAA less than a month before their official release. Also, we might see the smartphones launched in China first and later to the other parts of the world as usual.
Apart from the Redmi Note 7, the Xiaomi Redmi 7 is also certified by TENAA. This indicates that Xiaomi might launch both of these smartphones by the end of January in China. It is also interesting to see that the TENAA listing of Redmi Note 7 shows a gradient panel on the back. This tells us that the Redmi Note 7 series might come with gradient versions this time around. We can also see a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the Redmi Note 7. This takes the presence of in-display fingerprint scanner out of the equation.
Xiaomi also recently teased a new Redmi phone releasing with a 48MP camera. This smartphone could well be the Redmi Note 7 too. One other detail Redmi Note 7 will come with a 3900 mAh battery, according to leaks. Moreover, the Redmi Note 7 is expected to have a version with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. We already mentioned that the Redmi Note 6 Pro was launched in India just a few months ago. But it is fair to say that the device has failed to gain the popularity that even the Redmi Note 5 Pro or the previous Redmi Note devices managed to gain. Thus, Xiaomi would be hoping for a change of fortune with the Redmi Note 7.
Redmi Note 7 Specifications (Expected)
- 6.3-inch Full HD+ display
- 48-megapixel dual-camera setup
- Fingerprint scanner
- Gradient back panel
- 3900 mAh non-removable battery
