Xiaomi already grabbed the Indian market with their Note 4. We have seen it taking up the position for the best selling smartphone in India. They also want to grab the sub 10k market with the Redmi 4A.

Nothing much has been changed from the original 2 GB/ 16 GB variant of Redmi 4A. We get a polycarbonate body with 5 inch HD display on the front. Underneath the hood, we get a quad- core Snapdragon 425 chipset clocked at 1.4 GHz, coupled with an Adreno 308 GPU.

When it comes to the camera department, the Redmi 4A has a 13 MP sensor on the back with an f/2.2 aperture, which is accompanied by an LED flash. And, the selfie camera sports a 5 MP shooter with the same aperture measure.

You can expand the storage using an external SD card up to 128 GB. Moreover, the smartphone houses a 3120 mAh battery backed up by fast charging.

Redmi 4A includes all the necessary connectivity options and sensors as well. As you read earlier, the two areas where the new variant defers from the old one are RAM and internal storage. The new one has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB onboard storage. The inferior variant has a price of Rs. 5999 and the premium model costs you Rs. 1000 more.

Almost all the e-commerce platforms offer some bonuses on buying this smartphone. If you are a Jio user and you buy Redmi 4A from Amazon, you can avail 30 GB additional data from the carrier along with Rs. 200 promotional credit for Kindle e-books. Amazon also offers you Rs. 599 damage protection plan. In case you opt for official Mi.com site for buying this smartphone, you will get a 12-month free subscription to Hungama Music. Paytm only contains offers for the high-end variant at the price of Rs. 6999. If you buy it, they will give you Rs. 300 back.

The sale starts today. If you want the best smartphone under Rs. 10000, Redmi 4A is the one you should really consider.
