Xiaomi India on Monday 16 March 2020 launched 10000mAh Mi Wireless Power Bank in India. The new power bank from the company supports up to 10W wireless charging. It also supports 18W fast charging through a Type-C cable. However, interestingly Xiaomi doesn’t have any smartphone in India that supports wireless charging.
Xiaomi is one of the leading power bank sellers in India. The company has previously launched Redmi 20000mAh Power Bank and 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i and more.
10000mAh Mi wireless Power Bank Specs & Features
The new Mi power bank offers up to 7.5W wireless charging on compatible iPhone models and 10W wireless charging for Android devices. Further, it also provides 18W fast wired charging. The power bank also supports for charging two devices simultaneously. The device can be charged by an 18W fast charger.
The 10000mAh Power Bank is Qi-certified. For those who don’t know what Qi means, Qi defines wireless power transfer using inductive charging over a 1.6-inch distance. The technology is used by major smartphone manufacturers including Google, Apple, Samsung, and other phone makers. It weighs 230grams.
It also supports two-way fast charging. The company also mentioned that it has used high-quality polymer batteries. The power bank is compatible with all mainstream smartphones and digital devices.
According to the company, the wireless power bank has 12-layer advanced chip protection. The chip protection includes the following protections.

If you are thinking to charge your MacBook or other computing devices with this power bank. Well, it doesn’t support Power Delivery (PD) so, you cant charge your computing devices with this power bank.
Price & Availability
The power bank is priced at Rs 2,499 and only available in Black color. For now, you can buy it through Mi.com and also comes with a 10-days Replacement policy. But, in the future, the device could be sold through other e-commerce websites.
For now, we have no smartphone from Xiaomi in India that supports wireless charging. Well, the company has launched a number of the smartphone in China that supports wireless charging including Mi Mix 3, Mi 9 and more.
