The Chinese smartphone giant – Xiaomi has launched its 13 Pro flagship smartphone in India. Xiaomi has brought their latest flagship handset with Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Besides, the device features a triple camera setup with 50-megapixel sensors and OIS.
However, the device was launched last December along with the regular Xiaomi 13 smartphone. The brand has not revealed any plans regarding the launch of the vanilla variant of the 13 series in India. The Pro version comes with the support of both wired and wireless fast charging.

Xiaomi 13 Pro Specifications
The Xiaomi 13 Pro sports a 6.73-inch 2K OLED display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. The display comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and 1900 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 paired with Adreno 740 GPU powers the handset.
The camera module of the device features a triple sensor setup with 50-megapixel shooters. The primary sensors come with a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor and the other two sensors work for telephoto and wide-angle purposes.
It’s the first device in the world to come with Leica’s 75mm floating telephoto lens. Besides, the camera can capture videos in 8K at 24 fps and 4K at 60 fps along with slow-motion videos in 1080p 960 and 1920 fps.
The front-facing camera includes a 32-megapixel sensor placed in the top corner of the screen for selfies and video calling. The device runs on the MIUI 14 operating system based on Android 13. The Pro variant supports Dolby Atmos and makes use of the Stereo speakers on the device for an immersive experience.
The connectivity options of the 13 Pro include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.3, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The sensor array of the device comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, proximity, gyro, compass, barometer, and color spectrum. The battery pack of the handset has a 4820mAh cell that supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The 12GB + 256GB storage option of the Xiaomi 13 Pro costs Rs. 79,999. Xiaomi is offering an instant Rs. 10,000 discount to those who use ICICI bank cards while purchasing the Xiaomi 13 Pro, bringing the effective price down to Rs. 69,999. The Xiaomi 13 Pro will be available for purchase on March 10 via Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home, retail partners, and Mi Studios.
The brand added that the device would also be available for early sale starting March 6, with the first 1,000 purchasers receiving a special Xiaomi 13 Pro retail package. The early sale offer is available at Mi.com, Mi Home, and Mi Studios.
