Now WhatsApp officially launched video calling feature kicking away the edge of many apps including Skype, Duo and even Hangouts. The speculations say that the company is developing Instagram-like stories for WhatsApp.
You don’t have to go through geeky steps to make a video call on WhatsApp. Once you update the app, you need to tap on the call button as you usually do for a voice call. You will have to make a choice between the two shown there; video call and voice call. You don’t need further guidance, do you?
The celebrated Knock Knock feature of Allo is available on WhatsApp, using which you can see the preview of the caller. On the call screen, you get four buttons. The big red one terminates the call whereas the last row of three buttons help you switch your camera, go back to chat and mute audio respectively. When you go back to the chatting section, the call will get paused.
After the update, I noticed that the green on the interface became darker.
