Vivo Y72 5G got an official launch with a Snapdragon chipset and dual cameras in India. The Y72 5G Indian variant is a device similar to the previously launched Vivo Y72 in Thailand with slight differences.
Apart from that, the device features options like Ultra Game Mode and Esports Mode for a better gaming experience. Also, the device has Multi-Turbo 5.0 for optimized system processes. The front display has a water-drop notch that houses a front-facing camera and the back has a dual-tone design.
Vivo Y72 5G Specifications
The device sports a 6.58-inch full-HD+IPS display with 1080 x 2408 pixels resolution. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate for a smooth experience while using the device. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC with Adreno 619 GPU powers the device. The storage options on the device are 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device runs on the Android 11 operating system with Funtouch OS 11.1.
The camera module on the Y72 is a dual-camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. The front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/1.8 lens. The fingerprint sensor provided on the Vivo Y52 5G is a side-mounter sensor. The fingerprint sensor is placed along with the power button on the side of the device.
The connectivity options of the device are 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The senors array on the Y72 5G is an accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
The dimensions of the device are 164.15×75.35×8.40mm and weigh 185.5 grams. The battery capacity of the Vivo Y72 5G is a 5,000mAh cell that supports up to 18W fast charging.

The Vivo Y72 5G starts at a price tag of Rs. 20,990 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device comes in two different colors, Prism Magic and Slate Grey color options. This 5G budget smartphone will go on sale from today i.e.; July 15 at Vivo offline stores and other retail partner chains.

The launch offers are up to Rs.1500 cashback through HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Kotak Bank credit card and EMI transactions.
