Vivo Y33T officially launched as a new handset in the Y-series line-up for the mid-range smartphone buyers in the country. The Chinese manufacturer has slightly tweaked and upgraded the previously launched Y21T that launched recently in India.
Nonetheless, the upgrades of the smartphone include the use of a more powerful Snapdragon chipset; triple cameras on the rear, a few design changes, and an upgraded selfie camera.
Vivo Y33T Specifications
The front of the Y33T features a water-drop notch and below it spreads a 6.58-inch full-HD+ in-cell display. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate, an aspect ratio of 20:9, a screen-to-body ratio of 81.1%, and a pixel density of 270 PPI.
Powering the smartphone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset that tags along with Adreno 610 GPU for gaming and graphic-intensive tasks. The storage on the Y33T is 8GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
Additionally, Vivo is providing a virtual extension of RAM by 4GB; with the use of internal storage which makes the RAM of the device to a total of 12GB. As far as the optics are concerned, the Y33T with the triple camera module; comes with a main 50-megapixel wide-angle lens with an f/1.8 aperture.
Moreover, The other two sensors on the camera setup are depth and macro sensors of 2- megapixels with an f/2.4 aperture.
Coming to the front camera, the device sports a 16-megapixel sensor which is an upgrade from the Y21T’s 8-megapixel sensor. The connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G, VoLTE, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
Furthermore, the sensors array of the smartphone includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, proximity, and compass. Besides, the battery pack on the Y33T is a 5000mAh cell; that supports 18W fast charging and even supports reverse charging.
Price and Availability
The price of the Y33T for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version is set at Rs. 18,990 in India. Moreover, Vivo is providing the handset in two different colors – Midday Dream and Mirror Black shades.
The sale of the smartphone has already started at online retailers such as Amazon, Flipkart, Vivo India E-Store, Paytm, and other offline retailers such as Tata, Bajaj Finserv EMI Store, and many other authorized stores across India.
