Vivo X21, the phone with the magnificent facility has gone public in China a month ago. They have launched it globally now and the reports came out hinting at the Indian launch.
Vivo to Launch X21 with Under-Screen Fingerprint Sensor soon in India
As you already read, the company has conducted the Chinese launch event in March. Even before they officially present the device, we have got confirmation about Vivo coming with a stellar technology.
Singapore is the first market to have X21 after China. Vivo has made partnerships with retailers there to bring the device to the market in this month itself. Our sources reveal the exact date for the beginning of the sale is May 5.
To recall, the smartphone features a 6.28-inch display with full HD+ resolution. They have gone with 19:9 aspect ratio so that the front gets room for the notch on top. Vivo X21 marks an impressive 90.3% screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood, you get a Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz coupled with 6 GB RAM. When it comes to the storage, you have two options; 64 GB and 128 GB. However, there are totally three variants you can choose from. Apart from the regular versions, you get another 128 GB one with the under-screen fingerprint scanner. It also supports memory expansion up to 256 GB using an external SD card.
As for the optics, the device sports a dual rear camera that houses a 12 MP primary and a 5 MP secondary sensor. Up front, you will get a 12 MP selfie shooter. The company is known for selfie-oriented devices. They have included a dedicated AIE artificial intelligence chip from Qualcomm that supports facial recognition and an AI-driven digital assistant named Jovi. The phone runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and packs in a 3200 mAh battery.
You get to choose from Black, Ruby Red, Aurora White color options. The company hasn’t even officially announced the arrival of the device into the Indian market. So, the pricing hasn’t gone public. However, we expect them to price the low-end variant (64 GB) at around Rs. 29000, 128 GB one at Rs. 33000 and the most high-end (128 GB with under-screen fingerprint scanner) version at Rs. 37000.
