Vivo has officially announced two new 5G smartphones in the Indian mobile market dubbed as Vivo V25 and V25 Pro. These two new smartphones in the V-series feature new design aesthetics that include a squared-off camera module on the rear.
However, the company hasn’t revealed the vanilla V25 smartphone at the launch event and only presented the V25 Pro variant. Recently, Vivo announced a new Y-series smartphone in the Indonesian market as Vivo Y35 featuring a Snapdragon chipset.
The launch event of the new V-series smartphones showcased the V25 Pro device includes a 3D curved display on the front and a triple camera system on the rear. The main attraction of this new V-series handset from the brand comes in the form of the AG glass.
This AG glass on the rear equipped by Vivo will change its color as per the angles the device gets tilted.

The Vivo V25 Pro 5G smartphone sports a 6.56 inches AMOLED Full HD+ display. The display comes with a 1080 x 2376 pixels screen resolution. Moreover, the display of the handset supports a high refresh rate of 120Hz, a pixel density of 398 PPI, and a screen-to-body ratio of 89.6%.
Under the hood, a 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset paired with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU power the smartphone. The device runs on the latest Android 12 operating system with FunTouch OS 12 skin on top.
The camera module of the device includes a triple camera system featuring a 64-megapixel primary wide sensor with f/1.9 aperture, OIS, and PDAF. The secondary ultra-wide sensor with a 12-megapixel shooter has an f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degrees field of view.
The camera setup rounds off with the inclusion of a 2-megapixel macro sensor and an LED Flash. The front-facing shooter on the V25 Pro device comes with a 32-megapixel wide camera with f/2.5 aperture and autofocus.
The sensors array on the V25 Pro from Vivo includes an under-display optical fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. Furthermore, the connectivity options provided on the device include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB type-C 2.0 port for data transfer and charging.
The battery pack on the V25 Pro has a 4830 mAh capacity that supports 66W fast charging. The fast charging technology on this new Vivo V-series device can change the smartphone from 0 to 70% in 30 minutes.
Pricing and Availability
The Vivo V25 Pro starts at Rs. 35,999 for the 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage and Rs. 39,999 for the 12GB RAM, and 256GB internal storage. The brand has brought the smartphone in two distinctive color options such as Pure Black and Sailing Blue.
Vivo will begin the sale of the V25 Pro starting on August 25. You can purchase the smartphone from Flipkart, Vivo’s official online and offline stores across India.
