Vivo has announced their next 5G smartphone V23e; which comes as a mid-range device featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 5G chipset. The smartphone comprises a triple-camera setup along with a flash on the back; that has a unique design of three different color palettes from top to bottom.
Although, the front comes with a water-drop notch which is not quite a trend as many manufacturers are opting for a punch-hole display. The chipset is an attractive factor for the device as it is a considerably new SoC from MediaTek with controlled thermals as per their claims.
Vivo V23e 5G Specifications
The V23e 5G handset sports a 6.44-inch full-HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio, screen-to-body ratio of 83.8%, and a pixel density of 409 PPI.
An octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 Chipset powers the device along with 8GB RAM. Also, the device comes with an internal storage of up to 128GB with expandable storage of 1TB with an external SD card.
The camera module on the smartphone is a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. Furthermore, the secondary sensor is an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, and the tertiary sensor is a 2-megapixel shooter with an f/2.4 lens.
Besides, the front-facing camera of the device is a 44-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.
The connectivity features on the device include a 5G, 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, dual Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Moreover, the onboard sensors array of the device features an under-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. Besides, the battery pack provided by Vivo on the V23e is a 4,050mAh cell that supports 44W fast charging.
Price and Availability
The Vivo V23e comes for THB 12,999 or Rs. 29,200 approx. for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version in Thailand. The smartphone flaunts in two different color options – Sunshine Coast and Moonlight Shadow.
Also, Vivo has already kick-started the pre-order bookings for the smartphone and the sale will start from December 1. As of now, there’s no information for the Indian launch of this new V-series 5G smartphone.
