Vivo has launched the V23e 5G smartphone that features a MediaTek Dimensity 5G chipset in India. This new smartphone from the Chinese brand comes as a sibling for the previously launched V23 in January. This new launch from Vivo shares a similar design except for the internals.
The chipset on the V23e comes as a watered-down version of the original V23 smartphone. In the same way, the company has priced the V23e cheaper than the V23, but not much. The device comes in the mid-range segment that features triple cameras and a water-drop notch display.
Vivo V23e 5G Specifications
The V23e 5G sports a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels. The display comes with a regular 60Hz refresh rate panel; along with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a pixel density of 409 PPI.
A 6 nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset coupled with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU powers the handset. Moreover, the smartphone comes with dual-sim 5G support and runs on Fun touch OS 12 skin based on Android 12.
The camera setup of the smartphone includes triple cameras, featuring a 50-megapixel primary wide sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. A secondary 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 120˚ field of view and an f/2.2 aperture.
Lastly, the setup comes with a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor; as a macro shooter with an f/2.4 aperture. The front water-drop punch hole houses a 44-megapixel sensor with an autofocus lens and an aperture of f/2.0.
The sensors array of the V23e 5G arrives with an under-display optical fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. Besides, the connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port for data transfer and charging.
The 4,050mAh battery pack juices the V23e handset with support for 44W FlashCharge fast charging.
Price and Availability
The Vivo V23e 5G smartphone arrives with a price tag of Rs. 25,990 for the single variant of 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage in India. The smartphone appears in two different color options; Midnight Blue and Sunshine Gold.
The V23e 5G will compete with other brand smartphones such as the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G, Xiaomi 11i 5G, and Lava Agni 5G. The sale of the smartphone begins today in India at Vivo’s official website and authorized offline stores.
