There was a time Vivo targeted only offline customers by heavily promoting their selfie camera. By the time, they realized the potential of the online market. We can’t still say they are offering elated specifications to woo the users and defy the competition.
Today (24/09/2019), the company has released a new smartphone. Dubbed as Vivo U10, its innards seems promising for the price. And, they are not releasing the device for the offline market. So, without further ado, let’s get straight into it.
Vivo U10 with Triple Rear Cameras Launched in India
As you read earlier, Vivo has released U10 exclusively for the online market. Meaning, they have a target audience this time. Given the significant number of youths using the internet, their potential user-base is obvious.
When it comes to the specification, U10 flaunts 6.35-inch HD+ display with 2.5D curved glass design. The company calls this IPS panel Halo FullView Display. And, it has 19.5:9 aspect ratio with 89 percent screen-to-body ratio.
For the innards, it packs in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core chipset coupled with up to 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of RAM. Of course, you can tackle low storage issue by popping in an SD card up to 256 GB of capacity.
Now, let’s address the elephant in the room; the triple camera setup. It houses a 13 MP primary sensor, 8 MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2 MP depth sensor for impressive bokeh effects. Upfront, it has an 8 MP selfie shooter.
The device hits the market in three different RAM/ storage variants (3/ 32 GB, 3/64 GB, and 4/ 64 GB). It features all the connectivity options and sensors ( including Bluetooth, WiFi, accelerometer, fingerprint reader, and proximity sensor). The letdown is the micro USB port it carries. Buyers may wish for a Type-C port instead.
The battery capacity is 5000 mAh and it supports 18W fast charging. The OEM claims it is capable of providing the users with 38.6 hours of talk time on a single charge.
You can choose between two color options; Thunder Black and Electric Blue. There are no price difference between the two. For the 3/ 32 GB version, you will have to pay Rs. 8990. As we go up the ladder, the cost will climb up (Rs. 9990 for 3/ 64 GB and Rs. 10990 for 4/ 64 GB). It will go live on September 29 via Amazon.in and Vivo India website.
If you are an SBI cardholder, you can avail a 10 percent discount. For Jio customers, the benefits are worth Rs. 6000. In case you buy through Vivo’s official site, you will get Rs. 750 discount on your next purchase.
