Vivo has just launched a new edition of the Vivo NEX. The Vivo NEX was launched earlier this year by Vivo as the first smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera. This time around, Vivo has changed the design of Vivo NEX quite a lot. Instead of the pop-up selfie camera, there is no camera on the front at all. But that doesn’t mean you cannot take selfies on the Vivo NEX Dual Display edition. The company is aiming to change the way people take selfies with their phones. For this, Vivo has added Dual displays on this smartphone. Apart from that, the physical fingerprint sensor is now replaced by an in-display one on this edition.
Vivo NEX Dual Display Edition: What’s changed?
Vivo NEX was launched at a time when phones with notch were common. So the company introduced a pop-up selfie camera instead of a notch. Now, the company has added Dual displays on the Vivo NEX Dual Display Edition. On the back of Vivo NEX Dual Display Edition, there is a triple camera setup.
Therefore, if users want to take selfies on the Vivo NEX Dual Display Edition, they need to flip the phone over. You can see the selfie previews on the second display present at the rear and click the photos from there.
Apart from that, Vivo NEX also has a unique ring around its camera module. Vivo calls this as the ‘Lunar Ring’. Lunar Ring is same as a notification LED which blinks whenever a notification comes. Apart from blinking for notifications, this Lunar Ring is also known for low-light selfies. The Lunar Ring lights up while taking selfies at night which acts as an LED flash.
In terms of specifications, the Vivo NEX is fully loaded too. The Vivo NEX has a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display on the front. Interestingly, the second display of the Vivo NEX is also a Super AMOLED panel, a 5.5-inch Full HD+ panel.
