Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Series along with Galaxy Buds 2 have officially arrived in India; after the Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event. The Watch 4 series from Samsung features two models; the normal Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 4 classic model.
The Watch 4 comes with an aluminum build and the Watch 4 Classic has a stainless steel body. The Galaxy Buds 2 features few upgrades with the specs and design from the predecessor.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Series Specifications
The Galaxy Watch 4 and the Watch 4 Classic come in 4 different sizes which are 40mm, 42mm, and 44mm, 46mm respectively. Both the Galaxy Watches run on One UI Watch 3 based on Google’s new Wear OS.
Samsung has specially designed the Exynos W920 chipset for wearables and the same is provided on the watches. The storage provided is 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
The Galaxy Watch 4 with 40mm and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic with 42mm sizes feature 1.2-inch AMOLED displays with a resolution of 396×396 pixels. Whereas, the Watch 4 with 44mm and the Watch 4 Classic with 46mm sport a 1.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 450×450 pixels. All four variants of the Galaxy watch series are protected by Gorilla Glass DX protection.
Also, the smartwatches from Samsung come with features such as heart rate monitoring, electrocardiogram (ECG) support; blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) tracking, and sleep analysis.
Furthermore, the watch has fall detection support, analysis of menstrual cycles, and comes with an IP68-certified build that has water-resistant. The connectivity options are 4G LTE (optional), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ Glonass/ Beidou/ Galileo, and NFC.
Besides, the smartwatch can show notifications for calls, SMS messages, and emails and can run different applications like Samsung Pay and Google Pay services for making transactions. The battery sizes are 247mAh cells for 40mm and 42mm of Watch 4 and Classic model. The 44mm and 46mm versions of the Watch 4 and Classic model feature a 361mAh cell battery.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 are the new TWS earbuds and the successor to the last year’s Galaxy buds. The wireless earbuds come with a Dynamic 2 Way: Woofer & Tweeter system. Also, the earphones support Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that takes the help of the three microphones for canceling out external noises to the user. These earbuds from Samsung are tuned by AKG for audio.
Also, the earbuds come with IPX7 certification for splash and water resistance. The sensors array on the Galaxy Buds 2 includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor; hall sensor, touch sensor, and voice pickup unit (VPU).
The wireless buds can be connected to any device with the latest Bluetooth V5.2 support. Besides, the earbuds have six different equalizer settings supported on the paired device.
The earbuds of the Galaxy Buds 2 comes with a 61mAh battery on each bud and a 472mAh battery on the charging case. Besides, the case supports Qi wireless charging support and the buds can provide 1 hour of backup in 5 minutes of charging.
Overall, the Galaxy Buds 2 claims to provide up to 29 hours of battery life with the charging case and the earbuds alone will provide 7.5 hours of backup in a single full charge.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 with 40mm size is priced at Rs. 23,999 and the 44mm version is priced at Rs. 26,999. Besides, the LTE version of the Watch 4 with 44mm is priced at Rs. 31,999 and Rs. 28,999 for the 40mm. The color options of the 40mm version are Black, Pink Gold, and Silver. The 44mm version of Watch 4 comes in Black, Green, and Silver color options.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic starts at Rs. 31,999 for the 42mm model and Rs. 34,999 for the 46mm variant. The LTE version of the Watch 4 classic with 42mm comes at Rs. 36,999 and Rs. 39,999 for the 46mm. The color options of the Watch 4 Classic are Black and Silver.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 is priced at Rs. 11,999 in Graphite, Lavender, Olive Green, and White color options. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Series and the Galaxy Buds 2 will go on sale from September 10 and the pre-bookings will begin from August 30.
