Samsung Galaxy S10 Speculated to Sport a Triple Camera Setup

Rahul Krishnan • Updated June 26, 2018 • 3 min read • Leave a Comment

The smartphone industry has evolved into something we couldn’t imagine. Right from dual cameras to bezel-less display, we witnessed refreshing changes down the track. One of the surprising facts is the entrance of Oppo and Vivo to astonish the customers with innovative features.

Samsung is silently working on their next flagship (S series). The company’s S series is going to complete a decade after the first device of the kind came out. Going by the reports, they are working hard to woo the customers.

You know Samsung will not release S10 next. The next flagship from the company is going to be Galaxy Note 9. Once it hits the market, the South Korean multinational company will turn the green light on for the S10.

One of the main changes we may see on the S10 is the display. Given we started seeing bezel-less screens without notches, Samsung will also follow the same trend. Though notch has received mixed reviews among consumers, many companies were reluctant to remove it from their devices. It came to an end recently with Vivo and Oppo launching Nex and Find X respectively.

Samsung will also remove the iris scanner, says the report. They will add under-display fingerprint scanner instead. Moreover, we can expect the 3D face unlocking feature as well.

The newly surfaced report also throws light towards the different variants of S10. It says we will get three variants; regular one with an ordinary screen of 5.8-inches, another one with curved edges, and the most premium one with 6.2-inch screen size. The last one may sport a triple rear camera setup. We couldn’t manage any deep details of the triple camera setup, though. We think the report is authentic as we also heard the 2018 flagship from Apple, iPhone X Plus will also feature a triple lens camera.

The lack of iris scanner has come out publicly as the suppliers have revealed the company hasn’t ordered any components for the upcoming flagship.

When iPhone X came out, Apple was pompous about Animojis. Looking at the leaks, we think it will go the same way with Samsung Galaxy S10 too.

We haven’t got any confirmations about which device will sport under-screen fingerprint scanner and which ones don’t. You will have to wait at least until January next year to see the devices hitting the market.

As usual, chances are they will release two variants of the device; one with the latest Snapdragon processor and the other with Exynos chipset.
