Samsung has announced the latest Galaxy A52s 5G handset on September 1st starting at Rs. 35,999 in India. The smartphone debuted in the UK market last month as a successor to the Galaxy A52 device. The smartphone comes with a 5G chipset from Snapdragon with quad-cameras on the rear. The handset has a punch-hole display on the front and supports Dolby Atmos on its Stereo speaker setup.
The device comes with a similar set of camera lenses and displays technology except for this time; A52s comes with a 120Hz refresh rate instead of 90Hz which is an upgrade. The overall design and the camera placement is, all the same, besides the A52s is a slight upgrade in terms of processor. Apart from these, everything else on the device is the same when compared to the A52 smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy A52s smartphone sports a 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and supports a 120Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and 405 PPI pixel density. Under the hood, an Octa-core 6 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC with Adreno 642L GPU powers the device.
The storage provided on the device is up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with the expandability support of up to 1TB with a microSD card. The quad-camera setup features a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 OIS sensor. A 12-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens. A duo of 5-megapixel sensors with macro and depth lenses.
The front-facing camera on the smartphone comes with a 32-megapixel sensor accommodated in the punch-hole of the display. The camera has an f/2.2 lens for selfies and video calling purposes. Also, the device runs on the Android 11 operating system with One UI 3 skin on top. Additionally, the A52s supports IP67 certification for dust and water resistance which was found on Galaxy A52 as well.
The connectivity options of the Galaxy A52s include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Also, the sensor array of the smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and ANT+. The battery pack provided is a 4,500mAh cell that supports a 25W Super Fast Charging adapter provided inside the box.

The Samsung Galaxy A52s starts with a price tag of Rs. 35,999 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage version of the A52s comes at Rs. 37,499. The smartphone flaunts in three different colors; Awesome Black, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White. The Galaxy A52s is currently available for purchase on Amazon, Samsung’s official website, and retail stores across India.
