Samsung announces the Galaxy A13 5G smartphone in the United States featuring a triple-rear-camera setup, a MediaTek Dimensity chipset. The Korean brand is marketing this new mid-range smartphone; as one of their most affordable 5G handset in the United States.
Moreover, the shipping of the device is provided by various cellular carriers services present in the US and a SIM-unlocked handset version is available.
Samsung Galaxy A13 5G Specifications
The Galaxy A13 5G sports a 6.5-inch Infinity-V HD+ display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The display comes with an aspect ratio of 20:9; a pixel density of 270 PPI, and a screen-to-body ratio of 81.1%.
A 7nm Octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 powers the device coupled with Mali-G57 GPU. Besides, Samsung has provided storage of 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage; with the expandability of up to 1TB with a microSD card.
The camera module on the device is a triple camera setup featuring a primary 50-megapixel sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The secondary lens is a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and a tertiary 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.
Moreover, the front-facing camera on the device is a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling.
The connectivity features of the device include 5G, 4G LTE, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth V5.1, GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C 2.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Also, the onboard sensors array of the handset features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Virtual proximity sensing. The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G SIM-unlocked version comes at a price tag of $249.99 or Rs. 18,700 approx. in the United States. The smartphone comes in an alone black color variant with a front-punch hole on display.
Also, AT&T has listed the smartphone on their website and will ship the smartphone from December 3rd. Whereas, T-Mobile has nodded to ship the smartphones to their customers but will bring the A13 5G to its stores from January 2022 across the United States.
