Samsung Galaxy Book Series is the new thin notebook laptop lineup from the Korean manufacturer with the latest and greatest specifications. Furthermore, the Intel 11th Gen Processors powers these new machines coupled with Intel Xe GPU. Samsung has stopped selling its laptops in the Indian markets for a long time.
Samsung has packed in every feature that a thin laptop requires with a unique design. The series consists of four models that are Galaxy Book, Galaxy Book 360, Galaxy Book Pro, and Galaxy Book Odyssey. Besides, each model targets a different section of people. That have their own purpose of usage such as Home, Business, Gaming, etc.
Samsung Galaxy Book Pro and Book 360 Specifications
The Galaxy Book Pro comes in two different sizes such as the 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch variants. The displays feature AMOLED panels with 16:9 aspect ratios at full HD resolutions. The storage versions on these machines are 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB LPDDR4X to choose from the lot. The internal storage provided on the Pro variants is up to 1TB of NVMe SSD storage. Besides, the 15-inch model features the Nvidia GeForce MX450 GPU which the 13-inch misses.
The connectivity options present on the Pro variant are LTE, Wi-Fi 6/6E, Bluetooth 5.1, one Thunderbolt 4, one USB-C, one USB-A 3.2, one HDMI (15-inch variant). A 3.5mm audio port and a microSD memory card slot. The keyboard system on the Pro version has a new generation of scissor switches. This enables for key travel of 1mm and gives 23% larger space for the trackpad. The speaker console on the laptop is AKG tuned with Dolby Atmos.
The Galaxy Book 360 is a convertible notebook that features a touch-enabled display. This variant of the series has a 13-inch AMOLED display with the same specs as the Pro variant. The main highlight of this 360 variant is the 5G connectivity where the Pro variant misses out on. The main specifications such as processor, keyboard setup, speakers, and I/O ports are none the less same when compared to the Pro version.

The Galaxy Book is a toned-down version of the Pro and 360 variants of the new laptops from Samsung. Besides, the Galaxy Book sports a 15.6-inches Full HD+ LCD panel instead of the AMOLED screen present on the Pro variants. This variant from the series has a budget approach to the consumers. Although, the new 11th Gen Intel Processors with Intel Xe Graphics onboard powers the acceptable device.
The storage options are up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and internal storage of up to 1TB NVMe SSD Storage. The features that are similar to the Pro variants are Pro Keyboard that was mentioned above. The fingerprint scanner on the keyboard makes an appearance on this variant as well. The battery capacity of this variant is a 54Whr cell that supports 65W USB Type-C fast charging.
The Galaxy Book Odyssey is a gaming-centric laptop from Samsung. Furthermore, the Odyssey version features an additional Nvidia GeForce RTX3050Ti Max-Q and Nvidia GeForce RTX3050 Max-Q graphics options. The device is powered by the same 11th Gen Intel CPUs along with up to 32 GB of DDR4x RAM and up to 1TB of NVMe SSD storage.
The connectivity options for the Odyssey are Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, two USB Type-C, three USB 3.2, an HDMI, RJ45, and a 3.5mm audio jack. This gaming notebook has the same Pro Keyboard with a fingerprint sensor-equipped. The battery capacity of the laptop is an 83Whr cell that supports 135W fast charging support. The logo of the Odyssey variant is very unique. The design is distinguishable among all the other variants.
Price and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy Book Pro starts at a price tag of $999 and the 360 variant comes at a price tag of $1,119. The Galaxy Book variant is priced at $549 for the Wi-Fi version and $649 for the LTE model.
The Galaxy Book Odyssey the gaming laptop has a price tag of $1,399. The color option for the gaming edition is Mystic Black. The normal Galaxy Book comes in Mystic Blue and Mystic Silver. All the laptops are available for Pre-Order in the US.
