Redmi Note 5 Pro is a huge success. Even after months of releasing the device, people are crazy about buying it. When it comes to budget smartphones, no other company can defy Xiaomi.
Going by the leaks and speculations, the company is working on the successor to the Note 5 Pro. The phone has surfaced on the certification website FCC, hinting at the recent launch. However, we couldn’t go deep into the specifications of the device.
Xiaomi is Working on Redmi Note 6 Pro; Rumour Roundup
Owing to the massive success of Redmi Note 5 Pro, gadget enthusiasts are keen to get their hands on the successor. For the same reason, Xiaomi has to live up to the hypes to keep the market active.
The prolific tipster, Roland Quandt tweeted about the arrival of Note 6 Pro. According to him, ‘Redmi Note 6 Pro incoming. 3/32 GB and 4/64 GB models.’ You can also get information about three color variants of the upcoming Xiaomi device. Apart from the hinted Blue, Black, and Gold, they may come up with new ones as well.
Roland Quandt accurately leaked the details of many phones in the past. So, we think his tweet will turn out true in this case too.
We have also got a gist of the pricing. We can expect Xiaomi to price Redmi Note 6 Pro between 200-250 Euros (Rs. 16000- 20000). Although the leaker mentioned about 3 GB and 4 GB RAM variants only, we may see the top end version with 6 GB RAM in India. Whatever specs it carries, we don’t think the price will go beyond Rs. 20000 considering the latest happenings in the smartphone industry.
We have got to know a few unauthorized specifications of the device. We expect a full HD+ 5.45-inch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio on the phone. Chances are Xiaomi won’t ditch the notch from the outrageous Poco F1. The Redmi Note 6 Pro will have MIUI 10 based on Android 8.1 Oreo on it. However, they will update the platform to Android Pie in the coming days.
The company hasn’t said anything officially about the launch date. We hope they will unveil it by late September or mid October.
To recall, Redmi Note 5 Pro, launched in February this year has taken away the market by storm. It has a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It bears a dual camera setup on the back along with a single 20 MP sensor up front. Under the hood, you can find a Snapdragon 636 processor.
Not to mention, you have to take the leaks and speculations with a pinch of salt because they are not official yet.
