Redmi Note 11 series has launched officially in the global markets with the line-up featuring the Note 11, Note 11S, Note 11 Pro, and the Note 11 Pro 5G variants. The series of smartphones except for the Note 11 and Note 11 Pro 5G features the Snapdragon SoC; whereas the 11S and Note 11 Pro comes with MediaTek chipset.
The design of the new lineup from Redmi comes with similar aesthetics from the last year’s Note 10 series. However, you can witness a slight change in the camera module design on the back; which is slightly wider accommodating higher megapixel sensors. Nonetheless, all the devices in the line-up have AMOLED Dot display and dual-speakers with Hi-Res support.
Redmi Note 11 and 11S Specifications
The Redmi Note 11 and Note 11S smartphones from Redmi sport a 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED Dot Display with a screen resolution of 1,080×2,400 pixels. The displays on the duo feature an aspect ratio of 20:9 and up to 90Hz high refresh rate.
Under the hood, a Snapdragon 680 chipset powers the regular Note 11; and the MediaTek Helio G96 SoC powers the Note 11S smartphone. Both the devices run on Android 11 OS with MIUI 13 skin on top.
The camera setup on the Note 11 and 11S includes 50-megapixel and 108-megapixel main sensors respectively with an aperture of f/1.8 and f/1.9. The secondary sensors on these devices feature; an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a duo of 2-megapixel shooters for macro and depth.
Besides, the Note 11 comes with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera; whereas the Note 11S comes with a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 apertures for selfies and video calls.
The sensors array on the devices includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. The connectivity options on the devices include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, Infrared (IR) blaster; NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The displays on these smartphones feature a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED Dot Display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The displays run on the 120Hz high refresh rate with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a peak brightness of up to 1000nits.
Besides, a MediaTek Helio G96 SoC powers the 11 Pro whereas the 5G Snapdragon 695 chipset on the Note 11 Pro 5G.
The camera setup on the Note 11 Pro and 11 Pro 5G includes; a 108-megapixel main sensor with an aperture of f/1.9. Furthermore, the secondary and tertiary sensors on these devices feature a duo of 2-megapixel shooters for macro and depth.
Besides, the Note 11 Pro and Pro 5G come with a 16-megapixel front-facing sensor with f/2.4 apertures for selfies and video calls. The Pro variants out-of-the-box run on the Android 11 operating system with MIUI 13 skin on top.

The Redmi Note 11 in the lineup starts at $179 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage; maxes at up to $199 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. On contrary, the Note 11S starts at $249 for the base 6GB and 64GB variant; and goes up to $299 for the higher 8GB and 128GB storage version.
Furthermore, the color options of both these handsets include Graphite Gray, Twilight Blue, Star Blue, and Pearl White.
Speaking of the Pro variants the regular 4G version starts at $299 for the 6GB + 64GB model and maxes out at $329 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 5G variant of Note 11 Pro comes at a starting price of $329 with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage and the higher variant costs $379 with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
Moreover, the sale of these smartphones globally will begin in early February and the devices will launch on February 9th in India.
