Redmi Note 10s, a mid-range smartphone, and the Redmi Watch have launched officially from Xiaomi in India. The Note 10 smartphone launched globally in recent times and the smartwatch launched way back in November in China. The newly announced smartphone has similar specifications in comparison to Note 10.
The only change you can find is the use of the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset on the Note 10s. The regular Redmi Note 10 featured the Snapdragon 678 SoC. Moreover, Redmi has stated that the newly announced Note 10s is the first Redmi device to have MIUI 12.5 update out-of-the-box. Although, the pricing is a bit on the higher side in contrast to Note 10.
Redmi Note 10s Specifications
The device sports a 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The display supports 1,100 nits peak brightness, 4,500,000:1 contrast ratio, and SGS low blue light certification.
There is a 180Hz touch sampling rate and the protection used on the screen is Corning Gorilla Glass 3. An Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G95 SoC coupled with Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. The Note 10s run on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 skin on top.
The storage options provided by Redmi are 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64/128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The camera module is a quad-camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture. A secondary 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens. A duo of 2-megapixel macro and depth shooters with f/2.4 aperture. The front-facing camera is a 13-megapixel sensor with an f/2.45 aperture in the punch-hole setup.
The smartphone has IP68 Water Resistance, IR Blaster, stereo speakers on the top and bottom. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the side along with the power button. The battery capacity of the Note 10s is a 5,000mAh cell with a 33W fast-charging support via the adapter provided in the box.
The connectivity options of Note 10s are 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, IR Blaster, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
Price and Availability
The Redmi Note 10s comes with a price tag of Rs. 14,999 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant comes for Rs. 15,999. The color options available are Deep Sea Blue, Frost White, and Shadow Black.
Coming to the Redmi Watch, it is priced at Rs. 3,999 with four different colors – Black, Blue, Ivory, and Olive. The sale for Redmi Note 10s starts on May 18 on Amazon and Mi Retail stores. Besides, the Redmi Watch goes for sale from May 25 on Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Retail stores.
