Redmi Note 10 Series from Mi is the most awaited mobile launch for this year in the mid-range smartphone market. Redmi has improved its specifications from the last year’s Note 9 Series. They brought a good deal for the Mi fans in India with this launch.
Finally, Redmi has introduced AMOLED screens into their mid-range segment smartphones. This will lead to heavy competition between other brands such as Realme, Oppo, and Samsung.
In Addition to this, Xiaomi India has showcased their new 108MP sensor and 120Hz Refresh Rate supported display. These two features from the Redmi Note 10 Series are highly being used for marketing.
Manu Kumar Jain, CEO of Xiaomi India has teased this smartphone mentioning the above features in their tweets from Twitter. The newly launched series have three devices dubbed as Note 10, Note 10 Pro, and Note 10 Pro Max.
Redmi Note 10 Pro and Pro Max Specifications
Redmi Note 10 Pro and Pro Max have the same set of internals except, both the smartphones differ in cameras. The smartphones feature a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits of peak brightness.
The display of the device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and supports 100 percent DCI-P3 wide color gamut, HDR-10. There is a TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification which helps for reduction with your eye strain.
The chipset powering the Pro Duo is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC with Adreno 618 GPU. The smartphones have 6/8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64/128 GB of internal storage.
The duo supports stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio for a richer and deep experience. The devices weigh 192 grams with a thickness of 8.1mm. There is storage expansion support for devices up to 512GB through a MicroSD card slot provided.
Cameras and Battery
The camera section of the Note 10 Pro Max features a Quad-Lens setup with a 108-megapixel primary Samsung HM2 sensor. A 5-megapixel super macro shooter with 2x zoom, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. The third sensor is a 2-megapixel depth sensor for depth information in portrait shots. Coming to Note 10 Pro which has the same sensors except for the primary sensor.
The primary sensor on the Pro variant is a 64-megapixel shooter. The front camera on the Note 10 Pro duo is a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and attending video calls. The camera interface has improved a lot on MIUI with different modes and effects onboard.
The Note 10 Pro and Pro Max come with a 33W fast charging support and a 5,020mAh cell. The other necessary connectivity features of these duos are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR), USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The USB Type-C port is used for fast charging and data transfer.
Redmi Note 10 Specifications
Redmi Note 10 sports a 6.43-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the display. The display supports a 100 percent DCI-P3 wide color gamut and has 1100 nits of peak brightness. The Note 10 runs on the Android 11 Operating system with MIUI 12 skin on top.
An Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 SoC, Adreno 612 GPU coupled with a 4/6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM powers the Redmi Note 10. The storage provided on this variant is a 32/64/128 GB of UFS 2.2 with up to 512GB expandable ROM via a Micro SD card. Even this variant has 33W fast charging support and a 5,000mAh cell.
Note 10 on the rear has a quad rear camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary Sony IMX582 sensor. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The front camera is a punch-hole module with a 13-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling. Other connectivity options are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR), USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Price and Availability
The Redmi Note 10 starts at Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant and Rs. 13,999 for the 6GB RAM, 128GB storage. The color schemes that Note 10 flaunts are Aqua Green, Frost White, and Shadow Black.
The Note 10 Pro for 6GB RAM, 64GB storage costs Rs. 15,999 and Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB RAM, 128GB storage. The higher variant of Note 10 which is 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is for Rs. 18,999.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max starts at Rs. 18,999 for the 6GB RAM, 64GB storage and Rs. 19,999 for the 6GB RAM, 128GB storage. The higher variant 8GB RAM, 128GB storage comes at Rs. 21,999.
The color options for Pro and Pro Max are Dark Night, Glacial Blue, and Vintage Bronze. The official sale of the Note 10 series starts on March 16 at Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and offline retail stores in India.
