Redmi 10 Prime has arrived officially with a MediaTek Helio processor and Quad-Cameras in India. The device hosts a new set of cameras and designs on the rear with dual-tone colors. The newly announced Prime version has many similarities to the globally launched Redmi 10 version. The smartphone doesn’t come with a 5G chipset but Redmi has thrown in a high-refresh-rate display and larger megapixel cameras.
Redmi 10 Prime Specifications
The device sports a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ AdaptiveSync display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 400 nits of brightness. The front display of the Prime variant is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, an octa-core 12nm MediaTek Helio G88 SoC along with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU powers the device.
The storage options on the smartphone are 4/6 GB of RAM and 64/128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. The device comes with a dedicated SD card slot for expanding the storage. The Quad-camera setup of the handset features a primary 50-megapixel wide lens with an f/1.8 aperture. A secondary 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 lens and a duo of 2-megapixel sensors with f/2.4 lenses for depth and macro.
Besides, the front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling. The front display features a punch-hole that accommodates the front-facing camera. The device runs on the Android 11 operating system with MIUI 12.5 skin on top. Also, Redmi has provided a stereo speaker setup similar to the Redmi Note 10 series.
The connectivity options of the device include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port. Furthermore. the sensors array features a side-mounted fingerprint, accelerometer, proximity, compass. Also, the battery capacity of the smartphone is a 6000 mAh cell that supports 33W fast-charging and reverse charging.

The Redmi 10 Prime starts at a price tag of Rs. 12,499 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the 6GB RAM and 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 14,999 with both versions in three unique colors.
The device flaunts in Astral White, Bifrost White, and Phantom Black colors. Also, the smartphone will go on sale from September 7 on Amazon India, Mi Home Stores, and other retail stores across India.
