Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition with MediaTek Chipset Launched in China

Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition officially launched in the Chinese market. This newly launched device from Realme is from the line-up of Realme X7 5G and Realme X7 Pro 5G. The naming of the Pro Extreme variant of this X7 Pro is mainly given for a higher storage variant.

The smartphone doesn’t have many differences specification-wise and is very similar to the chipset and the display used in previously launched X7 models.

The Pro Extreme edition of X7 Pro has a 360Hz touch sampling rate and 90Hz refresh rate supported display. The display is a curved screen instead of a flat-screen from the previously launched models of the line-up.

The previously launched variants which are the X7 5G and the X7 Pro 5G were first announced in China back in September. We can expect the smartphone in India if there is a possible launch in the coming months.

Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition Specifications

The X7 Pro Extreme Edition sports a 6.55-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display supports a  360Hz touch sampling rate and a 92.1 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display has a peak brightness of 1,200 nits with 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 wide color gamut and has curved edges on the sides.

Besides, An Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ Processor powers the smartphone coupled with Mali GPU.

The camera setup on the rear is a triple-lens setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. A secondary 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.25 lens. A 2-megapixel macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture and 4cm focal length.

Besides, the front-facing camera is a 32-megapixel with an f/2.5 aperture for selfies and video calling. The camera has different mode options that enhance the picture quality and features a might mode as well.

The other connectivity options of the Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition are dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The battery capacity of the device is a 500mAh cell with 65W fast charging support that is provided along with a retail box.

The fingerprint sensor on the device is an under-display scanner. The device runs on the Android 11 operating system with Realme UI 2.0 skin on top. The smartphone weighs around 170 grams and the dimensions are 159.9x 73.4 x.7.8mm.

Price and Availability

The Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition comes for a price tag of CNY 2,299 or approx. Rs. 25,600 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage model. The 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage for a price of CNY 2,599 or approx Rs. 29,000.

The color options for the smartphone are the Black Forest and Castle Sky. There is no information on the launch of the device in India and the sale of this device is taking place on Realme’s official website in China.
