Realme X7 Max, a 5G handset in the X-series lineup with flagship-level specifications launched officially in India. The manufacturer has even launched its new TV with 4K and Smart TV support in India along with the X7 Max. The TV comes in two different variants — 43-inches and 50-inches. The TVs support both Dolby Vision and Atmos out of the box.
Coming to the X7 Max, the device is the first smartphone to feature MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC in India. Previously, the manufacturer has launched the X7 and X7 Pro devices with Dimensity 800U and Density 1000+ chipsets respectively.
Realme X7 Max Specifications
The smartphone sports a 6.43-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 1,080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The screen features 1,000 nits of peak brightness, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and a 91.7 percent screen-to-body ratio. An octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC powers the device. The storage of the device is up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
The X7 Max runs on the Android 11 Operating system with Realme UI 2.0 skin on top. The camera module is a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel primary Sony IMX682 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. An 8-megapixel secondary ultra-wide shooter and a 2-megapixel tertiary macro shooter. The front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.5 aperture on the X7 Max for selfies and video calling.
One of the highlighting features of the Realme X7 Max is a stainless steel vapor cooling system that can offer up to 50 percent increased cooling power. The cooling feature is an advancement over the traditional copper vapor cooling system on the device.
The device has an IPX4 water-resistant certification that can withstand occasional water splashes. The Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio support are bonuses for the device regarding audio setup.
The connectivity options on the device are 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The sensors array on the X7 Max features an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The battery capacity of the smartphone is a 4,500mAh cell that supports up to 50W SuperDart fast charging. A 65W bundled adapter comes in the box.
Price and Availability
The Realme X7 Max comes for a price tag of Rs. 26,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant comes at Rs. 29,999. The color options are Asteroid Black, Mercury Silver, and Milky Way.
The Realme Smart TV 4K starts at Rs. 27,999 for the 43-inch variant and Rs. 39,999 for the 50-inch variant. The smartphone and TVs are scheduled for sale from June 4 via Flipkart, Realme.com, and offline stores.
