Realme Smart TV Launched in India with MediaTek Processor and Supports HDR 10

Realme has launched Realme TV in India. The TV comes in two sizes and powered by Android. With the launch of two new Television, the company has entered the highly competitive budget smart TV segment. The Realme TV will compete with brands like Xiaomi, who has already made its name in the budget segment.

Realme Smart TV Specifications and Features

The smart TV comes in 32-inch and 43-inch size options. The 32-inch Realme smart TV has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, while the 43-inch variant has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Apart from the screen sizes and resolution, both TVs flaunt the same specs. Both Smart TVs have a peak brightness of 400 nits, supports up to HDR 10. It has a Chroma Boost Picture Engine, which enhances the picture quality.

Realme Smart TV is powered by 64-bit Quad-core, MediaTek MSD6683 SoC, paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Both TVs run on Android TV9 Pie out of the box.

Being an Android TV you get access to the Google Play Store, which lets you download thousands of popular apps and games. The TV comes with a couple of apps pre-installed such as Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime Videos.

For sound, TV has a four-speaker system with 24W of rated sound output. It has two full-range drivers and two twitter and also supports Dolby Audio. It has a built-in Chromecast and a dedicated Google Assistant button on the remote.

For connectivity the TV supports Wi-F- and Bluetooth 5.0 and it has multiple ports at the back that includes 3 x HDMI, 2 x USB, 1 x AV, 1 x Digital Audio out, and 1 x ANT pot.

Realme Smart TV remote has a minimal design and Realme branding on the front. It has an ergonomic curved & slim design and a couple of dedicated buttons, that includes Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime Videos. It is worth mentioning that the Yellow touch of Realme branding outside the “OK” button looks cool.

Price and Availability

The 32-inch Realme Smart TV costs Rs 12,999, while the 43-inch variant is priced at Rs 21,999. The first sale will be held on 2nd June at 12 PM, interested ones can buy it from Flipkart and Realme.com. Further, the television will also be available through offline retailers.
