Realme Pad 2 has officially arrived in the Indian market as a budget Android tablet with decent specifications. The main highlighting factor of the tablet is its 2K resolution display with minimal bezels. The newly launched tablet from the brand comes as a successor to the previously announced Realme Pad.
Pad 2 has a lot of similarities with its predecessor and mostly caters to an audience that is looking for a suitable media consumption device. Furthermore, the tablet features a quad-speaker setup with additional tuning for a better sound experience. In terms of design, there’s a circular camera module on the top corner and a dual pattern finish on the back.
Realme Pad 2 Specifications
The Realme Pad 2 sports an 11.5-inch LCD display with a screen resolution of 2000 x 1000 pixels. The display supports a 120Hz of refresh rate, 450 nits of peak brightness, DC dimming, and protection from blue light. The tablet comes with a dedicated O1 ultra vision engine which helps in enhancing the image while streaming content.
Under the hood, the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset coupled with Mali G57 GPU powers the tablet. The storage on the tablet includes up to 8GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage with the vicinity of expandability via an SD card. The device runs on the Android 13 operating system with a Realme UI skin on top.
The camera module of the Realme Pad 2 includes an 8-megapixel sensor both on the front and back with an LED flash on the rear. The quad-speaker system provided with a tablet features Dolby Atmos tuning for a richer and enhanced bass.
The connectivity options of the tablet include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port. The battery pack provided on the tablet comes with an 8360mAh cell that supports 33W fast charging.
Price and Availability
The Realme Pad 2 flaunts two different color options – Grey and Green shades. The 6GB and 128 GB model costs Rs. 19,999. Whereas, the 8 GB and 256 GB storage model costs Rs. 22,999.
The pre-booking of the Realme Pad 2 will kickstart from July 26th to July 31st for early purchasers. The first sale of the tablet will commence on August 1st at 12 noon. The tablet will be available to purchase from offline retail stores, Realme’s official website, and Flipkart in India.
