Realme Narzo 50i Prime with Unisoc Tiger T612 Chipset and 5000mAh Battery Launched in India

Realme Narzo 50i Prime comes as a new budget smartphone launched recently in India. The device features a Unisoc chipset, a single rear camera, and a 5000mAh battery. The company has brought this new handset to compete with Xiaomi’s latest budget device in the country.

The Redmi A1 smartphone comes at a similar price point, making it a tough competition in the range. Let’s check out the features, specifications, pricing, and availability of the India Realme Narzo 50i Prime smartphone.

Realme Narzo 50i Prime Specifications

The Narzo 50i Prime comes with a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display with a 720 x 1600 pixels of screen resolution. The display features a regular 60Hz screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9, a pixel density of 270 PPI, and a screen-to-body ratio of 82.2%.

Under the hood, the device gets powered by the 12nm Unisoc Tiger T612 chipset paired with a Mali-G57 GPU. Besides, the device runs on the Android 11 operating system with Realme UI Go skin on top.

The smartphone’s camera module features only a single rear camera and an LED Flash. The camera used on the handset features an 8-megapixel wide 27mm sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, 1/4.0″, 1.12µm, and AF.

The front-facing camera provided on the device comes with a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. Moreover, the front-facing camera records videos at 720p, and the rear-facing camera captures at 1080p resolution.

The connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Although, Realme has cut some corners with the sensors array, providing an accelerometer and proximity only, and lacks a fingerprint sensor.

The battery pack on the Narzo 50i Prime comes equipped with a Li-Po 5000mAh cell that supports reverse charging and only a regular charge rate.

Price and Availability

Realme Narzo 50i Prime costs Rs. 7,999 for the version with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and Rs. 8,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The two color options of the device are Dark Blue and Mint Green which goes on sale from September 22 at noon.

Realme will bring this smartphone for purchase on the Realme website, Amazon, Reliance, and other retail stores across India.
