Realme Narzo 30 5G and Narzo 30 have officially launched targeting gaming-centric users in India. The 5G variant and Narzo 30 have similar specifications to the previously launched Realme 8 5G smartphone. Both the Narzo 30 and Narzo 30 5G are also similar overall but have different chipsets.
The Narzo branding from Realme has launched many budget-centric devices in India. The Narzo 30 5G features the Dynamic RAM Expansion Technology that enables more RAM derived from the ROM. Besides, this gives the smartphone a smooth experience and boosts the memory hardware for extreme work times.
Realme Narzo 30 5G and Narzo 30 Specifications
The Narzo 30 5G and Narzo 30 sports a 6.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display has a punch-hole cutout on the upper right and the manufacturer hasn’t provided any protection.
The MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC powers the Narzo 30 5G whereas the MediaTek Helio G95 SoC powers the regular Narzo 30. Both the devices run on the Android 11 operating system with Realme UI skin on top.
The triple camera setup on both the 5G variant and 4G version is similar. The rear cameras consist of a 48-megapixel Samsung GM1 primary sensor, a 2-megapixel Macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an LED Flash.
The 5G model can shoot videos at 1080p resolution with 30fps. Whereas the 4G variant of Narzo 30 records videos at a resolution of 4K with 30fps. The front-facing camera on both the device is a 16-megapixel sensor.
The connectivity options of the Narzo 30 5G are 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Whereas the Narzo 30 features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The sensors onboard for both the devices are light sensor, proximity sensor, magnetic induction sensor, acceleration sensor, and gyro sensor.
The storage on the 4G variant of Narzo 30 is up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The Narzo 30 5G comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Both the smartphones have a storage expansion slot that caps at 256GB. The battery capacity is 5000mAh on both devices. But, the 5G variant has a 30W DART fast charging whereas the Narzo 30 has 18W fast charging support.
Price and Availability
The Realme Narzo 30 5G starts at Rs. 15,999 for the only 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option. The Narzo 30 comes at Rs. 12,499 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs. 14,499. The color options for both the devices are Racing Blue and Racing Silver.
The Narzo 30 5G is scheduled to go on sale from June 30 with an Rs. 500 discount. The regular Narzo 30 variant will go for sale on June 29 with the 4GB RAM and 64GB version. Even, the regular variant has the Rs. 500 discount applicable on the sale day. The smartphones will be available on Flipkart, Realme.com, and other retail stores in India.
