Realme GT 5G Listed on GeekBench Revealing Key Specification Details

Realme GT 5G is the upcoming flagship smartphone from the company. The GT series from the brand is a premium flagship smartphone. Realme has teased the smartphone several times on their social media. Now, the device appeared on the GeekBench listing revealing further specification details. The Realme GT 5G recently made an appearance on Weibo that has an image of the retail box of this upcoming smartphone.

Former Oppo Vice President, Brian Shen has published the images of the retail box for the device. The retail box of the smartphone looks very similar to the previously launched X7 Pro. There are chances that the box is made specifically for the “Bumblebee” leather model of the upcoming smartphone from the company and was teased as Realme GT Ares Special Edition-Dawn which has a leather accent on the back.

Upcoming Realme GT 5G Specifications

The model number listed on the GeekBench listing for the device is RMX2202. The Realme GT 5G according to the listing features an octa-core 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 888 processor coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The device runs on the Android 11 operating system with Realme UI skin on top. The smartphone on the storage space would come with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage on board.

The Realme GT 5G flaunts a Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support as per the leaks. The GeekBench scores bagged by the upcoming smartphone are 1138 in single-core and  3572 on multi-core. The design of this particular smartphone would feature significant accents of Ford GT cars. The color schemes that the device may appear in are black and yellow that combines a dual-tone vegan leather design.

This upcoming smartphone gets a stainless-steel VC cooling mechanism that basically helps with the heat dissipation and performance aspects of the processor. Realme has unique planning for this specific device, where they are working on a MediaTek version of the phone under the “Dual Platform-Dual Flagship” strategy. This strategy may help consumers to choose a chipset-specific smartphone between Qualcomm and MediaTek.

The Realme GT 5G base-version as per previously leaked details may come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The camera setup will feature quad-lens that comprise of 64-megapixel primary sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens. A depth sensor, and a macro sensor. There are no specific details on the battery capacity and charging capabilities of the GT 5G as of now.

The Realme GT 5G is getting ready for a launch on March 4th in China. There are no details on the global or Indian variant of this smartphone. The rumored pricing for the GT 5G smartphone is RMB 2,999 or Rs. 34,000 Approx.

The furthermore details such as accessories and other IoT products from Realme will get launched on the same day along with the announcement of the smartphone.
