Realme 8 and 8 Pro are the new mid-range smartphones for Indian consumers. Even, Redmi has launched their new Note 10 devices that have a similar set of specifications.
The 108MP device from Realme is one of the most affordable devices in India. Moreover, the Note series from Redmi and Realme 8 Series compete to deliver a feature-packed experience to Indian customers.
Realme has polished their 7 series device from the previous year and launched the devices named 8 and 8 Pro. The specifications of the devices have not changed and have a lot of similarities between them both.
While the Pro variant is limited to two storage options, the regular variant has three different storage variants. Apart from smartphones, Realme has brought smart IoT products such as weight scale and Smart LED bulbs for India.
Realme 8 Pro Specifications
The 8 Pro sports a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display has a 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, 1,000 nits peak brightness, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G Chipset coupled with Adreno 618 GPU powers the 8 Pro. The smartphone has up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. A storage capacity of 128GB UFS 2.1 with expandable storage support via an SD card.
The camera setup of the 8 Pro is a Quad-lens setup with a 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM2 primary sensor with f/1.88 aperture. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle f/2.25 lens with 119-degree field-of-view. A duo of 2-megapixel sensors with f/2.4 aperture for macro and monochrome purposes.
The front-facing camera on the device is a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor which has an f/2.45 aperture settled inside the punch-hole of the display.
The connectivity options present on the Pro variant are dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The device didn’t skip on any necessary sensors and has an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, magnetic induction sensor, accelerometer, and gyro-meter sensor.
Moreover, the display houses the fingerprint sensor beneath it. The battery capacity is 4500mAh with 50W SuperDart Fast Charging support.
Realme 8 Specifications

The connectivity options are similar to the Pro variant overall. Besides, the battery capacity of the regular version is 5000mAh in-comparison with the Pro variant.

Price and Availability
The Regular version comes for a price tag of Rs. 14,999 for 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 6GB RAM and 128GB model is priced at Rs. 15,999 and the higher storage version with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage are Rs. 16,999.
The Pro variant starts at Rs. 17,999 for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 8GB RAM and 128GB variant costs Rs. 19,999.
The colors available for the Pro variant are Infinite Black and Infinite Blue. The regular version flaunts in Cyber Black and Cyber Silver colors.
Moreover, the Realme 8 series will go on sale from 12PM on March 25th. The devices will get available on Flipkart and Realme India’s website.
