Reale has launched the Realme 6 series in India along with the Realme band to take over the Mi band. The launch event was streamed online because of Coronavirus. Realme 6 series is the successor of the Realme 5 series, which was launched in August last year. The series includes two smartphones Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro.
Along with the Realme 6 series, the company has also launched Realme Band. With this smart band, Realme has taken its first step in the smart band market. The Realme 6 Pro is the first smartphone in the country that supports Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC), developed by ISRO.
Realme 6 Specifications
The device has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Ultra smooth display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and 90.5 percent screen to body ratio. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G90T SoC, coupled with 8GB LPDDR4x quad-channel RAM and 64GB and 128GB USF2.1internal storage.
The camera department has 4 lenses at the back that includes 64MP Samsung GW1 primary sensor, 8MP secondary ultra-wide lens, 2MP tertiary sensor Depth sensor, and 2MP macro lens.
The smartphone is able to record 4K videos with its camera. For selfies, it has a single 16MP punch-hole camera. The front camera has features such as portrait mode, bokeh effect, timelapse, panoramic view, AI beauty and more. The device comes in two color variants comet blue and comet white.
Realme 6 Pro Specifications
Realme 6 Pro has a slightly larger 6.6-inch Full HD+ Ultra smooth display that comes with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has a refresh rate of 90Hz and comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 720G along with Adreno 618 GPU and up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 UFS 2.1 storage.
It has a quad-camera setup at the back that includes the same 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor like the Realme 6. The setup also has an 8MP ultra-wide lens, 12MP telephoto lens, and a 2MP macro lens.
The smartphone is able to record 4K videos @ 30fps. The front has a dual camera that includes 16MP Sony IMX471 primary and 8MP secondary lens. The device comes in lightning blue and lightning orange color.
The device runs on Realme UI based on Android 10 out of the box. Both devices come with a dedicated microSD card slot and have a 4,300mAh battery that supports 30W flash charge tech.
Realme Band
The band has a 0.96-inch coloured display, it features a touch-button. It has an Intelligent sports tracker mode, that includes 9 sports including cricket, yoga, climbing and more. The band also has heart rate monitor and features like sleep tracker and ideal alert.
The band is IP68 rated and has 90mAh battery. The band can be plugged in any charger or USB port directly to charge. It comes in three colors Black, Green and Yellow and priced at RS 1,499.
