Oppo is one of the two companies, which significantly made use of the offline phone industry. They literally bombarded all the streets with advertisements and as a result, even ordinary people came to know about them.
The company confirmed that they are going to launch Oppo R11s in China, which is a successor to their last year’s R11. Multiple leaks have come out throwing light at the specifications of the device. However, the last one from an AnTuTu listing reveals the specs in-depth.
Oppo to Release R11s in China on November 2
Going by the speculations, they might release two variants of the smartphone; R11s and R11s Plus. The latter will carry a larger screen as you might guess from the name itself.
Almost every new smartphone comes with minimal bezels and 18:9 screen-to-body ratio. So, we don’t see any reason why Oppo ditch the same. To recall, the predecessor R11 did come with wider bezels with regular aspect ratio.
Taking the rumors into the consideration, R11s will sport a 6-inch display with full HD+ (2160×1080 pixels) resolution. Not to mention, we can expect a near bezel-less front with 18:9 aspect ratio as well. The company already gave out the teaser images in which one of the brand ambassadors carry a phone with unibody metal designs and dual rear cameras. Although not visible in the image, they might mount the fingerprint scanner on the back.
Underneath the hood, we expect them to pack in a Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with Adreno 512 GPU and 4 GB of RAM. The dual SIM device will also feature 64 GB onboard storage with support for memory expansion.
We all know Oppo focuses more on the camera side. As you already read, it might feature a rear dual camera setup. Going by the rumors, the setup includes 16 MP and 20 MP sensors doubled with dual-tone LED flash. You will also see a 20 MP sensor up front, with some software tweaks for selfies inside the interface. The 3205 mAh battery supports VOOC Flash Charging.
When it comes to the platform, Oppo R11s will most probably feature Android 7.1 Nougat based ColorOS skin. The price details of the device haven’t gone out yet.
Oppo will release another larger variant (with larger screen, battery, and RAM) in the same event. The Indian division of the company is conducting an event on the same date to launch Oppo F5 here.
The alleged OnePlus 5T/6 resembles R11s in many aspects, as we take the leaked render images into the consideration.
