OPPO has unveiled a new handset in the K-series dubbed as K9x; featuring Triple Rear Cameras and MediaTek Dimensity 5G Chipset. The smartphone comes equipped with a HyperBoost mobile acceleration technology; designed by OPPO for improving gaming performance.
OPPO has tagged along with an intelligent cooling system that helps in lowering the temperature of the smartphone; while playing games for a longer duration.
OPPO K9x Specifications
The OPPO K9x sports a 6.5-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display comes with a 90Hz refresh rate, a screen-to-body ratio of 87.3%, a pixel density of 405 PPI, and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, a 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G Chipset coupled with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for graphic-intensive tasks. Moreover, the onboard storage of the device includes 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage.
The camera module on the handset comes with an AI triple-camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor. A 2-megapixel macro lens works as the secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth lens as the tertiary sensor.
Furthermore, the camera modes on the rear camera include HDR, panorama, and support 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fp with gyro-EIS. The front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 wide aperture.
The connectivity options of the OPPO K9x include Dual-Band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, a USB Type-C port with OTG support, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Besides, the onboard sensor array features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and a compass.
Moreover, the smartphone runs on the Android 11 operating system with ColorOS skin. The battery pack is a 5000mAh cell that supports 33W fast charging support.
Price and Availability
The OPPO K9x goes for sale from December 27 and hasn’t revealed any price details to the public. Also, the storage options provided for the handsets include 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.
Moreover, the smartphone will flaunt in two different colors, Black and Silver Purple options. Many reports suggest that this mid-range specification smartphone may start at CNY 1,499 or Rs. 17,700.
