OnePlus has finally launched OnePlus Nord in India. The smartphone was being surfaced on the internet for months has now live. The Nord is the company’s first affordable smartphone product line and comes with many premium features. The smartphone comes with a punch-hole display, Snapdragon 765G SoC, up to 12GB RAM, and much more.
OnePlus Nord Specifications
The smartphone comes with a 6.44-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2,400 pixels. It’s an AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and has an aspect ratio of 20:9.
The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device is powered by Snapdragon 765G, coupled with Adreno 620GPU. It has up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of USF2.1 storage.
In the optics department, Nord packs a quad-camera setup at the back, which includes a 48 MP sony IMX 586 sensor with OIS and an aperture of f/1.75, an 8 MP Ultra-wide (119 degrees) camera with f/2.25, 2 MP macro lens and a 5 MP depth sensor. For selfie, it packs a dual camera that has an 8 MP Ultra-wide lens (105 degrees) and a 32 MP Sony IMX 616 sensor.
The device can record 4K selfie videos at 60fps. Whereas the rear camera can record 4K videos up to 30 fps. The rear camera also features options such as CINE aspect ratio video recording, UltraShot HDR, Nightscape, Super macro, Portrait, Pro mode, Panorama, AI scene detection, RAW image, Filters, and Quick share.
For connectivity options, it has Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 5G, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, NFC and USB Type-C port. It also offers an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Nord has a single, superlinear speaker and it also offers the Oneplus’ iconic alert slider. It packs a 4,115mAh battery that supports 30T fast charging.
Like every OnePlus smartphone, the Nord also runs on Oxygen OS, based on Android 10. The device also packs with features such as Night Mode, Reading Mode, Face lock, and Video Enhancer.
Price and Availability
The OnePlus Nord in India starts at Rs 24,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, which is exclusive to the country Whereas the 8GB + 128GB costs Rs 27,999 and the 12GB + 256GB (top-variant) has a price tag of Rs 29,999.
The phone comes in two color variants Blue Marble and Gray Onyx. However, the base variant will be sold in only Gray Onyx color.
For Availability, the OnePlus Nord will be available for purchase through Amazon and OnePlus.in starting 4 August. However, the 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant will arrive in September. The phone will come in an open sale and users can now pre-book their device via the OnePlus experience store and on July 28 via Amazon.
