OnePlus Nord CE 5G, the mid-range contender from the Chinese brand has finally launched in India. The Nord CE 5G is the latest addition in the Nord series. The OnePlus Summer launch of the smartphone took place on the night of Thursday via the YouTube Livestream. The device is a toned version of the original Nord 5G that entered last year.
The series has become a huge success majorly in India because of OnePlus’s quality and price ratio. The company has even announced OnePlus U1S Smart TVs at three different sizes and price points. The design of the smartphone has a slim body and can be compared as one of the slimmest devices since the launch of the OnePlus 6T in 2018.
OnePlus Nord CE 5G Specifications
The Nord CE 5G features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400. The display supports a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC with Adreno 619 GPU powers the device.
The storage options provided on the smartphone; are up to 12GB of LDDR4X RAM with up to 256GB of internal storage. The device runs on the Android 11 Operating System with Oxygen OS 11 skin on top.
The camera module on the Nord CE is a rear triple-camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens that supports electronic image stabilization (EIS). Besides, the secondary camera is an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.25 ultra-wide lens and the tertiary sensor is a 2-megapixel monochrome lens with an f/2.4 aperture. The front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 with an f/2.45 aperture with EIS support.
The camera modes on the Nord CE features Nightscape, UltraShot HDR, Portrait, Panorama, Pro mode, and Smart Scene recognition. The video recording capabilities of the smartphone are 4K resolution with 30fps that has time-lapse support. The connectivity features of the Nord are 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS/ NaVIC, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The onboard sensors list on the OnePlus Nord CE 5G is the accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The device has a superlinear speaker with noise cancellation support and the fingerprint sensor is placed in-display of the smartphone.
The battery capacity of the device is 4,500mAh which supports Warp Charge 30T Plus. The adapted can charge the device from 0 to 70 percent in just half an hour.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G starts at Rs. 22,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs. 24,999. The higher storage 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 27,999.
