OnePlus 9RT smartphone has arrived in India after its China debut in October with a flagship Snapdragon processor and triple cameras. OnePlus is bringing the RT variant in the 9 series as an offering between; the already existing OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 9.
We can consider 9RT as a successor for the previously launched 9R smartphone from the brand; where the upgrades include a more powerful processor, updated cameras, and a metal build. Along with the 9RT, the company has launched the successor for the successful TWS earphones as OnePlus Buds Z2 with ANC support.
OnePlus 9RT Specifications
The smartphone features a metal build on the outside around the frame and on the back comes a glass body that features triple cameras. The camera setup of the smartphone includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS support.
The secondary sensor is a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter with an f/2.2 aperture and comes with a 123-degrees field of view. Besides, the setup features a tertiary sensor of a macro 2MP sensor.
The front display features a punch-hole design that comes with a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor; with an f/2.4 aperture for selfies and video calls. The Samsung E4 AMOLED display spreads over 6.62-inch with an FHD+ screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
Moreover, the display is packed with many features such as a 120Hz high refresh rate, a 600Hz high touch responsive rate; and supports HDR10+ with sRGB, DCI: P3 color gamut.
Under the hood, the internals feature a powerful 5nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Chipset coupled with Adreno 660 GPU. The connectivity features of the device include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, NFC, Stereo Speakers, and a USB Type-C port.
Besides, the sensors array features an under-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. Furthermore, the battery pack on the device is a 4500mAh cell that supports 65W Warp Charge 65T.
Price and Availability
The OnePlus 9RT 5G handset starts at Rs. 42,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage; whereas the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version costs Rs. 46,999. The color options provided by OnePlus for the 9RT include Hacker Black and Nano Silver.
The device will go on sale from January 17 at noon on Amazon and later the availability will extend to many retail stores in India. However, OnePlus is providing an RCC early access first sale to users on 16th January.
