It’s time to end all the speculations and rumors. OnePlus has finally put a full stop to all the leaks and guesswork. At a global launch they conducted in London, the company has unveiled their latest flagship dubbed as OnePlus 6.

The company is bringing many features to the table, with a small hike in the pricing, though. Let’s have a close look at what they have to offer now.

OnePlus 6 Launched; Full Specifications and Pricing

Before we get into the specifications of the device, you should know that the company is conducting two local events in China and India today. So, we will only get the confirmed Indian pricing by the night after the event.

  • CPU: Octa-core
  • RAM: 6 GB / 8 GB
  • Storage: 64 GB / 128 GB / 256 GB
  • Display: 6.28 inches
  • Camera: 16 MP + 20 MP
  • OS: Android 8.1 (Oreo)

As for the specifications, the main changed aspects are the design. OnePlus 6 has an all-glass body with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 to resist scratches. Unlike the previous years, they have introduced a new 256 GB inbuilt storage variant as well. Of course, they don’t want to miss the trend and a notch is there. Moreover, they even opted for the gestures to hide the on-screen navigation buttons and leverage the maximum from the bezel-less display.

OnePlus 6 sports a 6.28-inch AMOLED full HD+ display with 84 percent screen-to-body ratio 19:9 aspect ratio. You might have heard the device would pack in an under-screen fingerprint scanner. However, it’s not the case here and the sensor found its position below the LED flash on the rear.

As with any other OnePlus device, the new one also carries the flagship processor underneath the hood. The 2.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor gets 6/8 GB RAM along with Adreno 630 GPU.

When it comes to the camera, the rear dual setup features in a primary sensor of 16 megapixels. The Sony IMX519 sensor has 1.22 micron pixel size and f/1.7 aperture. Moreover, it has the support for optical and electronic image stabilizations as well. The secondary Sony IM376K sensor measures 20 megapixels and has the same f/1.7 aperture and a micron pixel size. The company has included a Smart Capture mode not to fiddle with the settings to get a decent snap.

Up front, the phone has a 16-megapixel camera with Sony IMX371 sensor of f/1.7 aperture. You will also get support for electronic image stabilization as well. OnePlus 6 has portrait mode for the selfie camera now, thanks to their specialized AI-algorithm.

The device is available in three different storage options; 64, 128, and 256 GB. Along with the fingerprint scanner, you can make use of the Face Unlock feature too. The battery capacity is 3300 mAh, with the support for Dash Charging.

Though it doesn’t pack an IP rating, OnePlus is confident that their newest offering can withstand the daily splashes.
