Nubia Red Magic 3 launched in China at 2899 Yuan(~Rs. 30,000)
As we mentioned earlier, Nubia’s Red Magic 3 is a gaming smartphone. Thus, the design of this smartphone is very unique and unconventional. You have a diamond-shaped fingerprint sensor and a single camera at the back.
Along with that, you have vents at the back possibly for cooling the internals. Also, there is a LED strip at the back which goes all the way to the bottom. This is similar to other gaming accessories which have an RGB LED as well.
Coming to Red Magic 3’s internals, the device has a 6.65-inch Full HD+ OLED display with the 90Hz refresh rate. Snapdragon 855 processor from Qualcomm powers the device along with 6/8/12 GB RAM. Along with that, you get 64/128/256GB internal storage as well.
Although the Nubia Red Magic 3 is a gaming smartphone, it still has a powerful camera at the back. You get a 48MP rear camera with Sony’s IMX 586 sensor. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera which supports video recording up to 1080p.
Along with that, the smartphone has a massive 5000 mAh battery which is essential for long-lasting gameplay. Nubia has also bundled Quick Charge 4.0 support on this device for fast charging. There is a 27W fast charger bundled with the device for the same.
Talking about Nubia Red Magic 3’s pricing, it starts in China for just 2899 Yuan which converts to Rs. 30,000+ in India. Nubia Red Magic 3’s top-end variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage costs 4299 Yuan in China.
To put Nubia’s pricing into perspective, the upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to come with mostly similar specs starting at Rs. 45000+ in India. It would be interesting to see if Nubia decides to launch the Red Magic 3 in India as it did with the Red Magic.
