Ever since Nokia relaunched the smartphone business under the new banner, HMD Global, we have been waiting for a true flagship from them. They released Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco and almost satisfied the fans.
However, the Nokia 9 buzz already started doing rounds by then. Recently, a few specifications of the upcoming device have surfaced on the web. We anticipated the company to release the device at the Mobile World Congress event happened in Barcelona. Nokia 9 didn’t make it to the event, though.
Nokia 9 Specs Leaked Online, Revealing Triple Camera Design and 256 GB Storage
You know it isn’t a new thing about smartphones. Every time the company even thinks about building a new device, leakers make the news public. Sometimes, the leaks turn out true word by word.
The new leak is a deep one, which contains a number of detailed specifications. When it comes to the display, it will have a 6.01-inch screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. The company will opt for Gorilla Glass 5 protection against scratches as well. HMD Global launched a few mid and top-end models at MWC event. Just like those, the new Nokia 9 will also be seen as a part of Google’s Android One project.
As we go underneath the hood, brand-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor will give processing power to the device. The speculation is that the processor will have the company of 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
You have read the title, right? Yeah, the camera is the main highlight of Nokia 9 (at least on leaks). It will reportedly pack a triple camera setup on the back with 41-megapixel, 20-megapixel, and 9.7-megapixel sensors with Carl Zeiss optics. Going by the leak itself, we can expect 4X optical zoom along with LED and Xenon flash modules.
The 41 MP sensor will feature variable aperture, optical image, stabilization, and a wide angle lens. The 20 MP sensor is supposed to have a telephoto lens that supports optical image stabilization. Lastly, we think the 9.7 MP sensor will be monochrome. Up front, the 21 MP camera features Bothie alongside a Pro mode.
Another important aspect we received from the leak is the internal storage. Given the companies are competing neck-to-neck to bring the best, Nokia 9 will have a 256 GB storage variant to felicitate the sales.
The camera capacity, the leak suggests is 3900 and it will have the support for QuickCharge 4.0. It can deliver 60% of juice in 30 minutes.
The pricing and release date haven’t come out yet. Stay tuned to GeekDashboard for the latest news on Nokia 9.
