The Lenovo-owned Motorola is trying hard not to drown in the Redmi flood. Xiaomi is literally dominating in under 20k INR segment. Maybe, Motorola’s new device will offer a neck-to-neck competition to their Note 5 Pro.
The company has unveiled the brand-new P30 Note in China. You might have already heard of their P30 smartphone, which they launched last month. The new one is a bit more premium with some improved specifications.
Motorola P30 Note Launched; Features, Price, and Release Date
If you are a tech enthusiast, you might come to know about the new Motorola device the company launched at IFA, which is Motorola One Power. As the name indicates, it will run on pure Android 8.1 Oreo. The P30 Note is similar to One Power if we excuse for the user interface.
When it comes to the specifications, the phone sports a 6.2-inch full HD+ display with 2.5D curved glass, 19:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Unlike the Motorola’s convention, you will see ZUI 4.0 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo as the user interface. One of the main features is triple slots which can simultaneously house two SIM cards along with an SD card up to 256 GB.
Underneath the hood, you will find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. You can choose from 4 or 6 GB of RAM. However, the internal storage option is limited to only 64 GB. As you have read above, you can expand the storage up to 256 GB using an external SD card without hindering the dual SIM usability.
As for the optics, it has a dual camera setup on the back with a 116-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture) and a 5 megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.2 aperture). Not to mention, you will also get a dual tone LED flash to help you with low light photography. The 12 MP camera on the front takes care of selfies.
You will get a notch on the top of the display with a Motorola branding on the bottom of the screen.
When you hold the device, the 198 grams of weight may feel a bit heavy. But the phone’s 5000 mAh battery capacity justifies the heaviness.
As of now, we got no information about the Indian launch of the device. In China, the 4 GB RAM variant costs CNY 1999 (around Rs. 20700) whereas the 6 GB variant bears a price tag of CNY 2299 (Rs. 23800). The phone has already hit the market with JBL headphones in the package as an introductory offer.
