Lenovo launched Moto G6 and G6 Play globally before a month and a half. Today, they are bringing both the models to India. We have got the information that the G6 Plus model (which they launched in Brazil) will not be seen in the launch today.

Moto G6 and G6 Play Set to Launch in India Today
The smartphones under Rs. 20000 has a large market in India. Xiaomi, Asus, Realme, and even Honor is dominating in this price range. Though Moto has a few offerings, they couldn’t grab the hearts of the gadget lovers.
When it comes to the specifications, Moto G6 features a 5.7-inch full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, you will get Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core chipset clocked at 1.8 GHz. The Adreno 506 GPU and 3/4 GB RAM accompany the processor. The smartphone runs on Android Oreo 8.0 and has dual nano SIM support as well. You can spot the fingerprint scanner below the display.
As for the optics, the device sports a dual rear camera setup with a 12 MP sensor of f/1.8 aperture and the secondary 5 MP sensor of f/2.2 aperture. Phase detection autofocus and dual-tone dual-LED flash help the camera enhance the performance. Up front, you get an 8 MP camera along with a selfie flash.
There are two variants (32/3 GB and 64/4GB). Moreover, you can expand the storage up to 256 GB using an external SD card too. Available in Indigo and Silver color options, Moto G6 comes with a 3000 mAh battery with TurboCharge support.
On the other hand, Moto G6 Play has an HD display measuring 5.7-inch size and 18:9 in aspect ratio. You will get Android 8.0 with dual SIM support. The battery has got an upgrade to 4000 mAh. However, the processor is 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 with Adreno 505 GPU. The 32 GB internal storage that accompanies the 3 GB RAM can be expanded up to 128 GB.
In terms of the camera, the G6 Play features a single 13 MP rear sensor with f/2.0 aperture and single LED flash. On the front, the device has an 8 MP camera along with a selfie flash.
Came in Indigo and Golden colors, the device has the fingerprint scanner on the back Moto logo.
The Indian pricing hasn’t gone public yet. The global price for Moto G6 is $249 (roughly Rs. 16,500) whereas G6 Play is $199 (approximately Rs. 13,000). The former will hit the market as an Amazon exclusive whereas the latter arrives on Flipkart.
