Moto G31 is the new mid-range 4G smartphone from the brand in India; featuring a MediaTek Helio chipset and triple rear cameras. The smartphone was first announced in the European markets in November and now; the company has brought the device to the Indian markets.
Moreover, the design of the smartphone is quite similar to the previously launched; Motorola devices with a punch-hole display and a rear triple camera layout.
Moto G31 Specifications
Moto G31 boasts a 6.4-inch full-HD+ OLED hole-punch display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a pixel density of 409PPI, and supports a 60Hz refresh rate.
An octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 Chipset powers the device along with Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU for graphic-intensive tasks.
The device runs on the Android 11 operating system with Stock UI and features a few Moto exclusive gestures and options for quick toggling. Also, the onboard storage of the G31 is up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage; along with 1TB of expandable storage via SD card.
The camera module on the device is a triple-camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor with PDAF and an f/1.8 aperture. The secondary sensor is an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter with a 118-degree field-of-view (FoV), an f/2.2 aperture and the tertiary sensor is a 2-megapixel macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture.
Besides, the front-facing camera is a 13-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls. Also, there are modes featured with the rear camera such as Dual Capture; Spot Colour, Night Vision, Portrait, Live Filter, AR Stickers, Pro Mode, etc.
The connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, GPS, GLONASS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Besides, the sensors array features an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Additionally, the smartphone has face unlock and comes with a water-repellent design for occasional splashes. Moreover, the Moto G31 comes with a battery pack of a 5,000mAh cell that supports 20W TurboPower fast charging.
Price and Availability
Moto G31 comes at starting price of Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage version. The higher storage version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at Rs. 14,999.
The G31 flaunts in two distinct colors namely the Baby Blue and Meteorite Grey options. Besides, the handset will go on sale from December 6th at noon on the e-commerce website Flipkart in India.
