Micromax In Note 2 has made an entry into the Indian smartphone market; packed with a MediaTek mid-range chipset along with Quad-Rear cameras. The design of the smartphone features a punch-hole display with a thick chain on the bottom of the display.
The smartphone comes in the affordable price bracket with mid-range specifications; competing with Realme 8i, Motorola Moto G31, and Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 edition. The sides of the smartphone have a rounded square design and on the right side of the device, Micromax has placed all the physical buttons.
Micromax IN Note 2 Specifications
The IN Note 2 comes with a 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display features a peak brightness of 550 nits and an aspect ratio of 20:9 along with the Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Under the hood, an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM powers the device. Moreover, the storage options of the IN Note 2 include a single version of 64GB onboard storage with an expandability of up to 256GB via a microSD card.
The camera module on the IN Note 2 is a quad-camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel main sensor. Besides, the secondary sensor is a 5-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, 2-megapixel tertiary macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Furthermore, the setup features a front-facing camera housed in the punch-hole; coming with a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling. The handset is a dual-sim version that runs on the Android 11 operating system.
Speaking of the connectivity features of the new handset from Micromax, it features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Besides, the sensor array includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
Moreover, the battery capacity of the In Note 2 is a 5,000mAh cell that supports 30W fast charging. The charge time of the battery is around 25 minutes for 50% of the charge.
Price and Availability
Micromax In Note 2 comes at a price tag of Rs. 13,490 in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version. The color options for the smartphone include Black and Brown (Oak) shades. The device will go on sale from January 30 at noon on the e-commerce platform Flipkart and Micromax’s official website in India.
