Mi Notebook series with Notebook Pro and Notebook Ultra models have officially launched in India. Mi India has conducted a live event where they launched many IOT products for the Indian market.
The newly launched products include Mi TV 5X, Mi Band 6, Running shoes, and a security camera. The company has changed the branding from Mi to Xiaomi etched on the products.
The Notebook Pro and Ultra variants will join the Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition lineup from Xiaomi India. The notebooks feature Intel 11th generation processors along with Xe Graphics for GPU needs.
Both the laptops have a 16:10 tall aspect ratio display and backlit keyboards. Apart from these, the size of the Ultra variant is slightly bigger at 15.6-inch; in comparison with the Pro variant which has a 14-inch screen.
Mi Notebook Ultra Specifications
The Notebook Ultra variant sports a 15.6-inch Mi-Truelife+ display with a resolution of 3200 x 2000 pixels. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 300 nits peak brightness, 100 percent sRGB coverage.
In addition, the display even has TUV Rheinland low blue light certification, DC dimming, and a screen-to-body ratio of 89%. Also, the top bar of the display features an HD webcam.
The laptop runs on the Windows 10 Home operating system with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM that clocks at 3,200MHz and 512GB of NVMe SSD storage.
Under the hood, an Intel Core i7-11370H / Intel Core i5 CPU paired with Intel Iris Xe graphics power the notebook. Besides, the keyboard of the notebook features a backlit scissor design with a fingerprint scanner embedded along with the power button.
The connectivity options of the Ultra variant include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, a Thunderbolt 4 port, HDMI port, USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The audio system provided in the notebook is a duo of 2W speakers that supports DTS processing. The battery capacity of the notebook is of 70Whr cell that claims a backup of 12 hours and supports 65W fast charging.
Mi Notebook Pro Specifications
The Notebook Pro variant features a slimmer and lighter profile in contrast to the Ultra variant. The laptop comes with a 14-inch 2.5K display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
The display supports 300 nits peak brightness, 100 percent sRGB coverage, TUV Rheinland low blue light certification, and DC dimming. Also, the laptop comes with a 16:10 aspect ratio screen.
Under the hood, the Pro variant gets up to an 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor with Iris Xe graphics. The storage provided on the Notebook Pro is up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage.
The connectivity options feature Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, a Thunderbolt 4 port, HDMI port; USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The audio system of the Pro variant is the same 2W speakers with DTS support and the webcam is of HD quality placed on the top bar.
The laptop runs on the Windows 10 Home edition and comes with Microsoft Office Home 2019 pre-installed similar to the Ultra variant.
Besides, the battery capacity of the Pro variant is of 56Whr cell that claims a backup of 11-hours and supports fast charging.
Price and Availability
Mi Notebook Pro comes at a price tag of Rs. 56,999 for the Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB of RAM. The Intel Core i5 with 16GB RAM is priced at Rs. 59,999.
On contrary, the Intel Core i7 variant with 16GB RAM is priced at Rs. 72,999. The color option for both Notebook Pro and Ultra variants is Lustrous Grey.
The Notebook Ultra with Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB of RAM is priced at Rs. 59,999. Besides, the 16GB RAM version with an i5 processor comes at Rs. 63,999.
Furthermore, the higher-end version of the Ultra model with Core i7 chipset and 16GB RAM is priced at Rs. 76,999. The laptops will go on sale from August 31st on Mi India’s website, Amazon, Mi Home retail stores, and other retail stores in India.
