Xiaomi has launched the Mi 11. The Mi 11 is the first smartphone to debut with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. With the latest Snapdragon SoC, the smartphone also features Xiaomi’s most advanced display. The phone also comes with triple rear cameras, with a 108-megapixel primary sensor.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Specifications
The Mi 11 features a 6.81-inch 2K WQHD display, with a resolution of 1,440 x 3,200 pixels. It’s an AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1500 nits. It has a contrast ratio of 5000000:1, and 515 PPI of pixel density. The display has a punch-hole design and also includes up to 120Hz refresh rate. The refresh rate can go down to 30Hz depending on the phone usage. It has a touch sampling rate of 480Hz.
Moreover, the display of the Mi 11 offers a DCI-P3 color gamut as well as supports HDR10+, Motion Estimation, and Motion Compensation (MEMC). The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top. The company claims that it has achieved the A+ rating from screen analysis firm DisplayMate.
Under the hood, it is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, paired with AdrenoTM 660 GPU. For RAM and storage, it has up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage.
In the optics department, it has a triple rear camera setup that includes the 108 MP primary sensor with a pixel size of 1.6 microns, it has an aperture of f/1.85 lens, and also has OIS (optical image stabilization). Accompanied by a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.4 lens, it has a field-of-view (FoV) of 123 degrees. Lastly, there is a 5 MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture.
For selfies, it has a 20MP in-display selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.4.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared blaster (IR), and a USB Type-C port. It features stereo speakers that are powered by Harman Kardon audio. Moreover, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor that can also monitor the heart rate.
The phone is backed by a 4,600mAh battery, that supports 55W Mi TurboCharge (wired) and 50 W wireless charging. It also supports 10W wireless reverse charging support.
Price And Availability
Xiaomi Mi 11 priced at CNY 3,999 which is roughly Rs 45,000 for the base 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. While the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant costs CNY 4,299 which is roughly (Rs 48,300). Whereas the top-of-the line 12GB RAM + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 4,699 (Rs 52,800).
The phone will be available for pre-orders in China. The phone will be available in anti-glare (AG) frost glass finish in Horizon Blue, Frost White, and Midnight Gray, colors. There will also be a vegan leather version in Lilac Purple and Honey Beige shades. The company has not provided any information on its global launch.
