After the much-hyped Moto Z, Lenovo has come down to mid-range phones now. A few days ago, the company launched Moto M in India.
Their last series of mid-rangers G4 and G4 Plus got mixed feedbacks. The spec sheet shows that they want to sweep off every bad opinion the last one earned.
Let us check out what Lenovo has brought on to the table with Moto M.
Moto M Specifications and Price
When it comes to specs, you will get stunned to see the processor. Instead of any Snapdragon mid-range processors, Lenovo opted for MediaTek Helio P5 64-bit processor.
The 5.5 inches display has a resolution of 1080p and it sports 2.5D curved glass as well. The phone is out for sale in two variants; 32 GB/ 3 GB and 64 GB/ 4 GB. Moreover, you can expand the storage up to 128 GB using an SD card.
They have incorporated a 16 MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual tone LED flash. The selfie camera has got an 8 MP sensor.
The phone contains a finger printer sensor in the back right beneath the flashlight. The all metal design adds a premium look and feel to the device.
The 3050 mAh battery has got quick charging support and the company claims it can charge from 15 to 100 within an hour.
The dual SIM smartphone offers Dolby audio support as well. You may find it awkward. But Moto M comes with Android Marshmallow, not Nougat. The speculations say that the update will soon be here in 2017.
Talking about minor setbacks, the first thing I want to mention is the hybrid SIM slot. You can’t insert two SIMs and SD card at the same time.

The secondary SIM slot doesn’t have 4G support. So, you may have to switch between SIMs if you have a habit of using data packs on both your connections.
The lower variant is priced at 15,999 INR and the higher variant at 17,999. If you are a hardcore gamer, I won’t think the phone will completely satisfy you.
Still, the specs look good for this price. The smartphone is exclusively available for shopping on Flipkart right now. The initial impression of the device is good, and the bottom line is Moto M is a decent smartphone.
