JioPhone Next is the latest affordable Android smartphone from the 4G cellular network provider Jio. Recently, the specifications and other details of the smartphone have come out in various reports.
Now, the manufacturer has announced the pricing and plan details for the purchase of this budget Android smartphone. Also, users can opt for different plans that range from 18-24 months at different prices with data plans.
JioPhone Next: Made with Google Specifications
The JioPhone Next sports a 5.45-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and features an oleophobic coating; for fingerprint resistance on the screen.
Besides, a Quad-Core 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 chipset powers the device along with 2GB of RAM. Also, the storage provided on the smartphone is 32GB internal storage; with an expandability of up to 512GB with a microSD card.
The camera module on the JioPhone is a single camera setup on the front and rear of the device. The rear camera features a 13-megapixel sensor with an LED flash and the front camera comes with an 8-megapixel sensor.
Moreover, some of the modes provided on the rear camera include portrait mode, night mode. Also, Jio has even provided preloaded custom India-augmented reality filters.
The onboard sensors on this affordable smartphone feature an accelerometer, light sensor, and proximity sensor. Furthermore, the connectivity features include dual-SIM Nano slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, a Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The battery pack on the smartphone is a 3500mAh cell and the device comes with Google-developed voice-first features like language translation, a smart camera, and deep integration with Jio for India.
Price and Availability
The JioPhone Next smartphone comes at a price tag of Rs. 6,499 in single blue back color. Moreover, Jio provides EMI options for the smartphone with an upfront initial price of Rs. 1,999; for the device that includes data and calling plans with the monthly payments.
Additionally, Rs. 500 is charged on the initial price as a processing fee.
