After giving double data benefits to its fiber subscriber, now Jio is giving a free one-year subscription of Amazon Prime to Fiber users. The free subscription is worth Rs 999 and the benefit will be given on Gold and above broadband plans with no extra cost.
Reliance Jio, Head of Strategy said, its partnership with Amazon Prime videos will open a new world of entertainment to its broadband users and users can avail this one year of Prime subscription at no extra cost. Amazon Prime subscription offers multiple benefits and Prime videos are one of them.
The Prime videos have a number of Movies, Series and Originals such as Patal Lok, The Family Man, Mirzapur, and more. Moreover, Prime music is already pre-installed on the Jio set-top box.
How to Get Free Amazon Prime
The free annual Amazon Prime subscription can activate by signing into their Amazon account on their Jio Set-top box. If you don’t have an Amazon account you can create a new account through Set-top box.
As mentioned earlier, the free annual subscription will be given to Gold, Diamond, Platinum, and Titanium broadband plan users. Jio Fiber Silver and bronze plan subscribers are not eligible for this offer. To avail it, users have to select at least a Gold plan.
To recall you, Jio recently introduced additional double data benefits for its annual plan subscribers on Jio fiber. If you are a bronze or silver plan subscriber and want to avail Amazon Prime offer you’ll have to select at least Gold plan.
The Gold plan offers a total of 1,750GB data including all the additional data. This includes 500GB annual plan, 250GB of introductory data, 500GB of double data, and 500GB of plan benefit. You can know more about Fiber’s plans here.
Additional Benefits
Jio FIber’s annual plan gives additional benefits to its users such as free voice calling, TV video calling/conferencing, OTT application subscriptions, etc. The OTT subscription includes Hotstar, SonyLiv, Altbalaji, JioCinema, Hoichoi, and more.
Jio Fiber rival Airtel also offers an annual Amazon Prime subscription with most of its broadband plans. All plans with Free Prime Subscription added costs above Rs 999.
The most expensive plan costs Rs 3,999 per month and it offers unlimited internet up to 1GB speed, unlimited local and STD calls, annual Amazon prime subscription, and Free Zee5 Premium subscription as well.
